Let it snow!

We got a few inches of snow and the deer looked pretty funny wading around in it.  I headed outside the other day with some Clementines and the one brave deer came up and took it right from me.  Nick tried to get some pictures without scaring them away so they aren't the best pictures, but it still gives you an idea.

Here are a bunch of the deer walking around in the snow.  I wonder what they do if there is a ton of snow.

Jack and Isabella got all suited up this week and headed out with Daddy to play in the snow.  It was cute to watch them.  Jack loved it, but he couldn't keep himself from falling down.  But even though it made him angry, he got right back up again and fell down all over.  Eventually Nick had to drag them both in against their wishes. :)

Creative Kids

Jack is growing by the second and is becoming much more of a playmate to Isabella. This is their Dinosaur Train...guess whose idea this was? Jack's!! He put the first two chairs together and said "Chugaa Chugaa Choo Choo" and "Train" and then Isabella went and got the other chairs and they had a great time pretending to be on the Dinosaur Train. They are so much fun!

We are all settled in in our new house up in PA.  We are loving it!  This is our backyard.  It is gorgeous now, especially since there is a bit more snow on the ground.  The deer are so much fun.  We love to feed them and my dad got them eating apples out of his hand when he was here.  We buy deer feed for them at the hardware store

Christening the kids new bathtub with a bubble bath.  Isabella was pretending to be Santa Claus.  I love this picture of Jack.  I feel like you can see what he will look like in 15 years.  

This is our little family room.  It is cozy.  I think I will miss the Christmas tree though, since we have had it up since we moved in.

Here are the kids on Christmas Eve.  They looked adorable.  Mom and I took Isabella to the Children's Mass.  She was hilarious.  The priest called them up on the altar for the gospel reading and Isabella was the only kid who stood up during the homily and turned around to me and asking in a loud whisper "Mommy, can I do a show now?"  Luckily, some quick sign language from me got her to sit back down, but not without a disappointed look on her face.

Isabella got a bunch of dress up stuff from us for Christmas.  We found a bunch of stuff after Halloween that I knew she would love.

Santa brought the kids a bouncy house.  We intended to set it up in the basement, but it fit in the play room.  It was easier to just set it up there.  The kids had a blast.  It is so easy to set up and take down and it gives the kids a great outlet for all their winter energy!

Jack got a ball popper, which he loves, and a set of balls (basketball, soccer, and football).  You can see a theme here.  Jack loves balls!  He even calls Isabella's polka dots balls.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for Christmas.  The kids loved having them here.  Jack suddenly became Mr. Kissyface this week.  He used to deny us kisses, now he just loves doling them out...a welcome change.

Isabella and I made a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas Day.  It turned out quite cute.  Isabella really enjoyed making it and eating it.

Isabella also got a skeleton costume.  In the days leading up to Halloween she decided she wanted to be something scary and kept telling everyone she was going to be a skeleton and I had to tell everyone she was actually going to be Dorothy.  She was excited to get a skeleton costume for Christmas.  I am sure it is every girl's hope for Christmas.

Isabella is such a ladies man!  ***EDIT: I realized I called her a ladies man, I meant a man's lady I guess.*** She just loves all the men in her life.  Here with daddy, Pop-pop and Great Grandpa Ray.

Back in Georgia to say goodbye....again!

After Brian's wedding the kids and I got a horrible stomach flu.  I decided to head to GA despite the kids both recovering from the flu and Isabella still kind of in the throws of it.  Maybe not the best idea I ever had, but we made it.  After about 3 days of making sure we were done with the flu, we finally got to reunite with the Corbetts.  Jack loved his new friend Andrew.  When we left Andrew was only 3 months old and now he was about to turn 1!  We were able to be there for Andrew's 1st birthday.  I was glad we got to celebrate that milestone with them.  I loved spending time again with one of my best friends in the whole world!!  I wish we weren't going to be so far away.  We will have to lure them up here for a little vacation...hint, hint!

 Jack wanted to go outside when it was raining.  We let him and he had a fun time standing in the pouring rain.

 We spent Thanksgiving with the Corbetts.  It was a great meal and we were glad we got to share it with friends.

 Isabella and Nathan decided to share the bathroom together.  We happened to catch this moment.

 If they get married one day this will have to be in a slideshow at their wedding.

 Jack loved playing in their playroom. I think he is enjoying having his own playroom up here in PA.

We were so sad to leave our friends behind again, but it was a great visit and we are happy to be together as a family in our new house.
