Isabella loves to play this game with daddy where she tells him to walk away and then calls his name and he runs back and swings her around.
We had some fish and chips tonight and I dumped some vinegar on a plate since Isabella was interested. Here she tries a piece of a hush puppy soaked in vinegar. Too funny!
Isabella got a Rody in the mail the other day from her Aunt Jenn for her birthday. She really likes it and loves for daddy to make it jump and throw her off it. Here she is when she just got it.

Birthday Party
Here are some pictures and videos from Isabella's birthday party for those of you who couldn't be here. This was after nap time and before getting ready for her party. She was wearing her Word World shirt.
Waiting for her guests to arrive...
I was going to invite all the kids her age from our Moms group but it was going to be a big party if everyone was able to attend, so I decided to invite the little kids from her tumbling class. So we invited 4 little kids and it was the perfect size. I can't imagine having more than the 5 kids 2 and under for a party. We had a good time and Isabella loved her pizza and cupcakes and loved opening her gifts. Eating their pizza:
Feeding her friend Kayla. Isabella loves to feed other people their food and Kayla really enjoyed eating her food so they were the perfect match.
Video of Singing Happy Birthday and blowing out the candles:
Eating her cupcake:
After eating her cupcake (or licking off most of the icing) she decided to take some of Kayla's icing when she wasn't looking.
Isabella loved opening gifts! I think this Christmas will be lots of fun! Thank you to everyone for your generosity. Isabella loved her new toys and movies. Here are a couple pictures and a video of her slowly but surely getting the DVD from Aunt Julia opened.
Her first tea set from her friend Lea:

Happy 2nd Birthday Isabella!
Well today was Isabella's 2nd Birthday. We had a great day. We went and got her picture taken this morning and then we spent the afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese playing, just the two of us. We also bought her a single cupcake to commemorate her birthday since she isn't getting her cake until her party on Saturday. It was a great day. I can't believe that at 6:14 pm 2 years ago I laid eyes on our little angel for the first time. She has since brought so much joy to our lives. She is so full of life and keeps us smiling day in and day out.
We love you Isabella Rose!!

We brought what she calls her "guys" with us to the picture studio. She loves these guys and carries them with her everywhere.

Playing at Chuck E. Cheese

Having a cupcake for her actual birthday.

A quick living room makeover...
courtesy of baby Jack. I am going to blame my overwhelming need to redecorate on this powerful nesting instinct that has taken over recently. I just want everything to feel right when Jack comes home and the living room colors just weren't working for me. I had been wanting a change for a while, but it finally had to happen. The living room is probably the most important room in the house for me since it is where Isabella and I spend most of our time when we are home. The colors are now green, pink and creme. I love the lighter colors and lighter fabrics for the curtains. I also found a new piece of art for the wall and I love it! It is of a beautiful angel. I am going to keep all the red stuff and pull it out for fall and winter. Hope you all like it!

Just playing around
Here are some cute pictures of Isabella. She loves playing with all her "guys," all the animals that she has in her possession. She set all her animals up for a lunch of letters and then after lunch they all went to sleep. She proceeded to lay them all on their side and make her snoring noise. It was hilarious!

Eating a delicious lunch of letters:
Naptime after a yummy lunch:

She has also been so funny eating her yogurt. It is tough to eat and not make a mess because the organic yogurt is pretty stringy. She was loving her yogurt this day and looked too cute all messy!

She has also been enjoying dumping out her toy baskets expressly for the purpose of putting them on her head and running around.
