Dress Making

So I went a little overboard and with the help of my Mother-in-law I learned how to make these adorable pillowcase dresses.  She and I made the Disney ones together for my kids and the Faust kids for our vacation and then we made a couple more together and then I made a bunch more on my own.  This just has to be documented since I am pretty proud of my work.

 These two we made together

Then I was off and running...

I made this little one for Elizabeth out of corduroy.
I made a matching one for Isabella
I made this one for Elizabeth too.

Just some monkeying around

Daddy built the kids a little fort with some chairs .
This is a Jack face smushed on the netting.  You have to close one eye to see it, but I find it hilarious.

Isabella created this train and all the animals got on board for a ride.

Chris and Cristina came through the day after Jack's birthday to pick up Raleigh (who we had been dog sitting).  That is when this burying kids in the bin began.
Henry, boy is he getting big.  He looks more and more like his brother every day.  Oh and that is Jack in the bin.
Love this one! Jack looks scared, but really he was loving it.

He got a package in the mail from Grandpa and Grandma from a website called Nothing but Dinosaurs.  They sent him a plush Brachiosaurus and some light up T-rex shoes.  He loves them both!

Jack's 2nd birthday

Jack celebrated his second birthday with a Dinosaur party.  We shared his birthday celebration with Gabriel Strobridge.  His birthday is August 13th and Jack's is August 14th so since our guest list ended up being the Strobridge family and Nonna and Pop-pop we decided we should just do a joint birthday party.

The kids were excited about the party in the days before.

I made some dinosaur lollipops that turned out really cute.

My friend Marla did the adorable cupcakes.

Ben, Gabriel, and Lisa

Jack got dinosaurs for his birthday of course.
Isabella enjoyed spending time with Nonna and Pop-pop.

Gabriel enjoyed our dress up clothes...as always.

The next day we opened some more of his presents.  Nonna and Pop-pop got him a big dinosaur pop up book.

Isabella made Nonna and Pop-pop a card.  She drew a beautiful garden for them.

Ross Park Zoo--Binghamton

We drove up to Binghamton and spent the day with Nonna at the Ross Park Zoo.  After the zoo we headed over to see Great Grandpa Ray...one of the kids favorite people!  It was a beautiful day..cool breeze and sunny.

Some big birds in the back ground with their wings open.
 Playing on the playground.
This is a wallaby and she has a baby in her pouch.
