We also spent some time at the beach. Unfortunately my camera ran out of space so I wasn't able to get any videos of her at the ocean, but as you can imagine she loved, loved, loved it! It took her about 5 minutes to lose all fear and hesitation and go running straight in to the ocean with complete confidence. That of course made me and everyone else very worried, knowing the very real dangers of tides, currents, and waves, so we had to stay right on top of her. She had a great time Uncle Chris and Grandpa who took her out in the ocean, but she also loved just playing in the surf. Grandpa had so much fun with her we had to go back, just the three of us, on Tuesday and Grandpa let her run as far down the beach as she wanted and that was far! She loved the wide open space.

Visit to NC
Isabella and I took a little vacation to my parents house in NC last week. We were able to stay a week and we had an awesome time! Thank you to mom and dad for helping me out so much with Isabella while I was there! Isabella was very busy: she mastered the doggie door, she conquered the ocean, and she made the outdoor fountain her personal playground. The doggie doors brought us plenty of laughs but it also made it hard to be certain she was inside whenever I left her in a room alone. A few times I came looking for her only to find she had climbed outside and was standing in her clothes in the fountain! We had to lock the dogs out of their doggies doors so Isabella could be contained, but she still managed to get the cover off one of the three. Of course, after she mastered climbing in and out the "normal" way she had to try it backwards and every other way to make things more interesting. She also loved all the flowers in the garden and mom was kind enough to clip a few for her here and there that she could play with.

We were also fortunate to visit Raleigh, NC on the way to my parents and spend a little time with Cindy, Scott, and Cade Pearson. It had been a year since we saw Cade so we were amazed at how much he had changed. It was so much fun to see our friends and we were able to visit the Raleigh Children's museum, Marbles, and had a great time!

Since Cristina doesn't have a blog yet...
I have been telling Cristina she needs a blog so we can follow all the cute things David does, but since she still hasn't taken my advice I couldn't resist posting this cute video of him that I got when he was visiting. He thought it was so funny when Isabella would bring him stuff.

Olympic Park
We went to Ria's Bluebird today for brunch, it is a famous little diner in Atlanta and then we headed down to the Olympic Park area of downtown and let Isabella play in the fountains. We came prepared with a swim diaper and a change of clothes. At 12:30 they did a water show set to music that was about 10 minutes long and then they let the kids resume play. Isabella had a great time in the water!

After water play we walked to the nearby park where Isabella enjoyed the slides and other fun toys!

When all we said and done...she was exhausted!!

Luckily Jack is still a boy!
We had another ultrasound today and the doctor said everything looked great and he was still a boy. I had them double check the boy parts to make sure! One video gives a good head shot and the other gives a good view of the boy parts. They said he is measuring a bit big for dates. He was measuring 30 weeks 3 days and I am 28 weeks 5 days. They estimate he is 3.6 lbs already! Since he is supposed to gain a pound every 2 weeks he will be at least 8 lbs at birth if he stays on track. He is also still laying transverse (or sideways) across my abdomen with a head on one side and the butt on the other. Please pray that he will move in to head down position soon so I can deliver him!

Summer fun!!
So summer is in full swing here in Georgia (even though it is technically Spring) and Isabella is enjoying the outdoors like crazy! Today we got Isabella a water play mat and a quality bubble maker. She was in heaven. We have been enjoying spending afternoons at Bridget's house with Isabella's friend Nathan. Nathan and Isabella have become really good friends. Only recently have they been really interacting and not just playing in the same room. Nathan has a water mat and they have so much fun together. We haven't had Nathan over to our house yet but we will have to do that soon.
Today we had Isabella's friend Leia over. They had a great time. Here are some pictures and video from today.
BUBBLE FUN!!

WATER FUN!!!

Also, Isabella has been enjoying this tutu that I got her last year for her first birthday. She is too cute, especially when she says "tutu" and "tiptoe" and then tiptoes around the room.
Finally, we went to the pool this last weekend and Isabella had great fun playing with daddy! She was also kicking her feet and trying to "swim" back and forth between Nick and I. She definitely likes the big pool better when we are both there instead of just me.

Check out Katie's Blog
Just a quick post to tell you all to check out Katie's blog, you can link to it from the right side of my blog where my blog list is. Gianna apparently has started making the "chhh" noise that Isabella has been making since she was able to make noises and then she says "Bella noise". It is so funny. Katie has posted a couple videos of her doing it. I will post some pictures soon from my trip to TX and some videos of Isabella.

Some Playful videos
Here is one of Isabella playing in the kitchen cabinets and then doing an unexpected dance for us.
Here is one that makes Isabella laugh everytime...so I thought Gianna might enjoy watching this one. You never know what makes kids think something is so funny, but Isabella sure loves this one.
We have been going to the park a lot lately. She loves sliding down the slide and trying new ways to do it. She is such a daredevil. She will lay down on her back and slide head first and she will just sit down backwards and slide down. I am so impressed because I don't think I would have ever done that myself. Apparently she didn't inherit mine or Nick's cautious nature. Unfortunately she didn't demonstrate for me when I was videoing her.
