Looking at things from a new perspective

Today I watched Isabella put her head on the ground and look through her legs over and over again.

While I got a good chuckle out of it, it got me thinking...why did she like doing this over and over? I realized that she was enjoying how the same old things looked from a different perspective. The same old couch and chairs looked totally different upside down. Her toys looked new and maybe instead of being bored with me (as she usually is by midday) I looked like more fun upside down. :) It made me realize that sometimes we all just need a change in our perspective. So instead of looking at all the things that I don't have here in GA I am looking at things in a different way. I have one great new friend that I have met since moving here. I have joined a moms club and went to my first event today...storytime at the Borders. I am going to my first class at the gym tomorrow morning and I plan to join if I like the class. I joined a social networking group for West Georgia Moms and have a coffee date set for next Thursday. So the truth is things look pretty good. It is different than the life we had at HBS, but maybe if I put my head on the ground and look between my legs it will look a little more familiar.
