KC Pumpkin Patch and City Market

We went to the KC Pumpkin Patch this weekend.  We had a great time!  There was so much to do there for the kids.  They had all sorts of fun pumpkins, which was the highlight for Jack.  He loved the pumpkins.

They also had a zipline for the kids, which Isabella LOVED!!  She probably did it 3 times in a row, since no one was waiting and then before we left she had to do it one more time.  At first, Nick ran along with her in case she needed help, but then she pretty much did it by herself.

 

 

They also had this fun jumping pillow, which Nick and I had never seen anything like it before.  It was a lot of fun for both kids....just a huge inflatable pillow surrounded by sand.



The first 1,000 people to the pumpkin patch that weekend got free tickets to the Royals so we got our free tickets.  The Royals mascot was there and Isabella loved him!

 They also had an adorable little barn with animals...and everything was all themed and cute like these piggies.

 There was also a barn with kids stuff like these horse swings

and a corn box to play in

 We got to measure Isabella again this weekend.  I swear she is growing taller every day.  At the end of August I pulled out her fall clothes to see if the 3T stuff would fit and it all pretty much did.  Now the 3T shirts are way too short.  She is definitely completely in 4T.

 They also had a cute Yellow Brick Road train that took you on a little loop through the woods and they had wooden cut outs of all the characters.  Here are a couple pictures...you get the idea.

 

They had lots of fun slides which both kids enjoyed....and big kids too!

Here was a tire dragon for climbing.



Unfortunately, this was Jack's mood most of the time...oh well, what are you going to do with a teething toddler?

 

There was a fun pirate ship playset and so Isabella pretended she was a pirate.

 

And tons of other playsets...

and a little kids barrel train...

It was a lot of fun!

On Sunday we went downtown to the City Market.  It is a Farmer's market and a garage sale and it has some ethnic markets as well.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great time trying food and wandering around.

There was a steamboat museum down there that we didn't go to but there is this big steamboat wheel outside the museum for all to see.  Pretty neat!

Later that week we met up with my friend Dana and her kids Danika and Deacon at the Children's Farm.  Isabella and her friend are so cute together.  They have so much fun!
